Q. How do I cite this book, article, or website?

I found a great resource but I do not know how to cite it.

Answer

1. If you used a database, look for a "Cite" or "Citation" button. You can easily get citations in a few common citation styles that way. If you do not see it there, look up the article or book in Google Scholar and use its "Cite" link.

2. Or, if you only need to cite a few things quickly, use a tool like CiteThisForMe  or Citation Machine .

3. Or, if you only need to cite a few things and you want more details, check the quick guides and style manuals for the citation style you need at https://mcphs.libguides.com/citation/specific_styles .

4. Or, if you need to cite a lot of things, sign up for a tool like Mendeley , RefWorks , or Zotero .
