Where do I get tutoring help?

Either one-on-one tutoring or group tutoring is fine.

I heard there was also an online tutoring software?

Answer

Access TutorMe in Blackboard to get up to 6 hours of free tutoring a week. Sign into Blackboard and select the course you want to be tutored in. Access the Tools menu for that course. Select TutorMe. Enter the subject you want to be tutored in. Follow the prompts to get help from a tutor who is not from MCPHS. A PDF with instructions is attached to this FAQ.

Use the "Assist" menu in Blackboard to access several types of tutoring and supplemental instruction.

  • Select University Learning Network to make an appointment with people at MCPHS. Select tutoring option you want. Sign in and follow the prompts.
  • Select "Bartleby Help" to get help from an expert who is not from MCPHS. Submit your question. They will send a response via email.
  • Select "Bartleby Write" for quick grammar help. Upload your file or start typing directly in the tool. Plagiarism help is not included in MCPHS's version.

Contact the Center for Academic Success (CASE) for additional support.

You can learn about using many of the library's databases through our "Database Tutorials" guide.
