How do I know if a grade column has an associated assignment or if it's an orphan?

Grade columns without an associated item (e.g. test, wiki, discussion, assignment) permit you to delete them.
New to the grade column title, click the menu. If you see the Delete Column option, then this is an orphaned grade column and you may delete it.
Caution: only delete this column if you are sure you do not need the grades. This cannot be undone.
