Can I schedule Announcements in Blackboard?
We'd like to set up a series of reminders and have them automatically post/send at preset times prior to assignments.
Answer
When creating announcements, it is possible to enable Date Restrictions so that announcements are posted automatically after a preset time.
All you have to do is select the Date Restricted option when creating the announcement, and set a Display After date:
Once the date and time arrives, the announcement will become visible to students and a notification will be sent to their email!
