How can I create a randomized block of questions?

Answer

Prior to creating a random block, be sure you've created at least one pool of questions.  You may create several pools to draw questions from as well.

  1. In your course, turn Edit Mode ON.
  2. Navigate to the content area where you'll be creating the test. 
  3. Click Assessments > Test.

  4. Click Create.

  5. Complete the test settings and information, then press Submit. 
  6. On the Test Canvas page, click on Reuse Question > Create Random Block.

  7. On the Add/Edit Random Block page choose the Pool to use, Criteria and Click Import.
  8. Click OK
